10 Most Successful Rock Music Star Siblings

2. The Gallaghers (Noel And Liam)

Well, they had to be on here somewhere.

When it comes to brothers in rock music, few are as famous (or infamous) as these two lads from Manchester. Liam Gallagher had initially started the band that would go on to be called Oasis, before his older brother Noel joined as their chief songwriter and leader.

This was the beginning of one of the wildest sagas in musical history.

Oasis became legends in their own time; the people's champions of the Britpop movement that galvanised the nation in the 1990s. Their list of notable records is several miles long, with many of their songs becoming classics of the age.

Noel's songwriting and guitar-playing, combined with his dual vocal duties with Liam, captivated audiences up and down the UK and beyond, as the album sales figures kept getting higher and higher.

Unfortunately, over time, the Gallaghers began to hate each other.

Their feuds, both private and public, are just as iconic as any of their songs. The brothers' apparent disdain for one another just added to their mystique, even if it eventually led to the band calling it quits. They continue to stay at each other's throats to this very day.
