10 Music Videos That Were Actually Made By Famous Directors

9. Tim Burton - Bones (The Killers)

Released in 2006, the video for The Killers' Bones has got Burton written all over it, shot in dull, shadowy colours and featuring alt-protagonists dressed in black and rocking thick eyeliner. That's not to mention the gradual transformation of everyone in the video (including the band themselves) into ghoulish skeletons, culminating in the hilarious moment in which two bony figures attempt to passionately embrace and subsequently shatter into pieces. What's also cool about the video is that it pays homage to Burton's love of the horror genre. The vast majority of the action takes place at a drive-in cinema; in the background you see clips of famous films such as Lolita, Creature From The Black Lagoon and Jason And The Argonauts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FufL80hJsP8
