10 Oasis Songs That Beat 'Live Forever' In The Charts

6. All Around The World

As stated before, 'All Around the World' topped the UK charts after appearing on 'Be Here Now'. Its reign lasted just one week, yet the tune was a top ten feature for a fortnight in total.

Interestingly, the single is still a record holder to this day, being the longest-playing record to reach number one in the UK. At 9 minutes and 38 seconds, 'All Around the World' is over a minute longer than Justin Timberlake's 'Mirrors', which weighed in as runner-up.

Today, people are still attempting to unravel the lyrical meaning behind the song, as they do with most Oasis songs. Nevertheless, in a time when chart tracks rarely exceeded five or six minutes, the band again pushed boundaries, albeit with a few ‘na na na’s’ towards the end.
