10 Rappers That Have Never Made A Bad Album

4. Death Grips

Since its beginnings in the '80s, rap was always known to be a more raw experience for every artist involved. As opposed to the more manufactured sounds of soul and funk, this was a street-level look at hip-hop, with bands fitting in with as much of the punk aesthetic as they did with R&B. You may think you know the more aggressive side of the rap spectrum, but something like Death Grips will throw any of your preconceived notions off a cliff.

Starting with Exmilitary, every one of the group's releases has made for some of the most hard-hitting hip-hop ever created, as MC Ride puts you through a verbal meat grinder. From one track to another, it feels like Ride could either be slowly killing you or ripping out his own throat, but either way, the sonic chaos has made for some of the most awe-inspiring rap cuts of the modern age.

While the Money Store has become a fan favorite ever since its release, the band's eclectic way of jumping between different sonic soundscapes has given each album its own distinct identity, from the experimental moments of No Love Deep Webb to the punk stylings on Year of the Snitch from 2018. Most rappers tend to have only a handful of highlights in their catalog, but when it comes to quality amounts of sonic mayhem, Death Grips don't really have any bad albums in them.
