10 Rock & Metal Bands That Still Have All Their Original Members
1. U2
As the years have worn on, it's getting a lot easier for any fan of rock and roll to slag off U2.
Since their style has been copied better in other places and Bono has become more political as the years go on, it's safe to say that people are either leaving them in the dust or dragging them through the mud depending on the day. While there are many faults to be had with U2, you can't deny their dedication to the group.
In fact, this is probably the most wholesome way a band could have been formed, originally meeting when they were still kids at school and rehearsing between classes. The lunchroom crowd has certainly gotten bigger since then though, with the Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby making them rock legends by turning their sound inside out while still hanging on to their core values.
Compared to the other bands on the list, U2 is a classic example of every single one of the members making the group what they were. Despite the fact that Bono or the Edge may be the most recognizable, the world of U2 would practically shut down if someone like Larry Mullen Jr. wasn't behind the skins or Adam Clayton decided that his heart wasn't in it.
Even though they might think that their music has the power to change the world, U2 has certainly found a way to have a sense of utopia in the confines of their own band.
