They were nominated in 1976 for "Bohemian Rhapsody" and again in 1980 for "Another One Bites The Dust", but, scandalously, never left the place with a golden gramophone.

This puts Kanye right in the middle of Stevie Wonder and John Williams (legendary composer for Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park etc). It also puts him above Bruce Springsteen, Sir Paul McCartney, Aretha Franklin and Eric Clapton in terms of number of Grammys won. Surely a recount is needed here? Maybe not - the American rapper once said himself:
I am Gods vessel. But my greatest pain in life is that I will never be able to see myself perform live.
How can we argue with God himself? If he chose the path for Kanye, he obviously knew what he was doing. So let's just keep giving him gold shiny things so he can continue to release music we all have the privilege to actually see live. There's no going back now.
