10 Weirdest Rock Songs Ever Made

7. Cigaro - System of a Down

Every single fan of nu metal probably had their mind thrown into a blender the first time they heard System of a Down. While still being seeped in the same heaviness that you'd find on a record by Korn, there was a lot more weight to what System's lyrics were about, informed more about politics than your internal struggles with your parents. Hell, even when they were talking politics, you were even thrown for a loop with something like Cigaro.

Being more of an absurdist humor piece than an actual condemnation, most of this song has to do with Daron Malakian taking on the warmongers of the US itching for a fight that no one wants to happen. You wouldn't know that from the first lyrics though, as Malakian takes on the character of the filthy American proclaiming that his...well...sexual organs are much larger than those of his contemporaries.

Even if the song does make you laugh at the end of the day, Serj Tankian's vocal about people being in denial of these horrific practices at least puts you on some form on level ground, albeit one that's still falling apart at the seams. Though most of System's lyrics have a bit of a pointed slant to them, songs like these involve a bit more work to actually find it.
