3. Drake's One Dance Is The UK's Lowest-Selling Number One

One Dance entered the charts in April 2016, becoming Drake's first number-one single in the UK as a lead artist, and remained there for 15 weeks. This was an impressive achievement, bringing the song to a second-place tie with tying with Wet Wet Wet's Love Is All Around for the second longest consecutive number-one hit in UK chart history, behind Bryan Adams' (Everything I Do) I Do It For You.

However, this run also garnered the single the lowest weekly sales that any number one single has seen in the charts, overtaking (or undertaking) Orson's No Tomorrow.

Given the high of the single's weekly sales at number one was over 100,000 units, its tenth week sales of 13,152 were a paltry offering. Nonetheless, as the song's sales have now hit 5x platinum in the UK, it is unlikely Drake will be joining Orson in the long and dusty halls of pop obscurity any time soon.
