While it's true that he's not just a dubstep producer, that doesn't mean that he doesn't love the genre's insane bass drops. There's not really any point in being a Skrillex fan if you aren't fussed on heavy f*cking bass. It's what every fan waits for at his gigs. There's that moment when the snare rush comes in, followed by a moment's silence, and then... WHAM. The bass grabs your stomach and pulls it in a thousand directions at once. Plenty of other DJs and producers use hefty bass, but none are as crazy with it as Skrillex. He piles bassline after bassline on top of one another, all operating at different frequencies and taking on varied shapes and forms, making the effects of his many drops even more extreme.
