Kieran Hebden started out his music career as part of the group Fridge before going solo under the moniker of Four Tet, producing music which takes on a wide range of influences including house, hip hop, jazz and even folk music. His third album, Rounds, was knocked together over the course of ten months using little more than a desktop computer and hi-fi and is constructed from a host of samples which Hebden has altered mostly beyond all recognition. Rounds is Hebden at his most jazz-influenced, with the glitchy beats flowing over dreamy electronic melodies.
