Daft Punk took a leaf out of the earlier techno producers and shrouded themselves in a literal cloak of anonymity, hiding their faces behind robotic-looking masks whenever they performed. Given the number of records they've sold over the years hiding behind a mask certainly hasn't hurt their career.
