Daft Punk took a leaf out of the earlier techno producers and shrouded themselves in a literal cloak of anonymity, hiding their faces behind robotic-looking masks whenever they performed. Given the number of records they've sold over the years hiding behind a mask certainly hasn't hurt their career. Daft Punk have been at the forefront of French house for decades but they never hit the dance-oriented nail on the head better than with their Homework album. Most readers will be more than familiar with the catchy pop synth hit Around The World, while Homework has been cited as the album which made house music popular again.
