20 Most Underrated Hard Rock Songs Of All Time

13. Garden Of Eden - Guns N Roses

After Guns N Roses conquered the hair metal competition with their album Appetite for Destruction, their ambitions were set much higher for the followup. Rather than stick to their roots and make another album of slamming hard rock, the band opted to release a double album of all new material complete with guest stars, piano ballads, and a full orchestral scope. Amid all the fluff, there were still songs that brought the band back down to the streets.

Though many single out the Alice Cooper assisted dirge "The Garden" as one of the most epic parts of the record, its accompanying song "Garden of Eden" is the polar opposite of its dramatic older brother. Standing at just under 3 minutes, this is hair metal by way of punk rock, as the band tears through the main riff with wild abandon that wouldn't feel out of place on a hardcore record.

It gets even more crazy when you see the music video, where the band plays the whole song through a fish eye lens and proceed to kick the piss out of each other in its confined space. Use Your Illusion was a bit of a different listen for hard rock fans, but this song was confirmation of the band's street punk heart.
