2019’s 10 Weirdest Music Collaborations

8. Fall Out Boy And Wyclef Jean - Dear Future Self (Hands Up)

Yes really, a tune with Fall Out Boy and that guy from The Fugees. Destiny’s Child, Shakira and now Fall Out Boy join the Haitian rapper’s long list of featured appearances. The journeyman joined Patrick Stump and friends on September's Dear Future Self (Hands Up).

Fall Out Boy have gone down a more pop direction since their reformation in 2013, but the announcement of their tour with Green Day and Weezer overshadowed their new collaborator. I wouldn't expect to see Wyclef join the boys on The Hella Mega Tour for his part though.

While his contribution to the track is a small yet solid verse, it is the choice of the 49-year-old guest as opposed to recent collaborators. Fall Out Boy released a track with emo rappers Lil Peep and iLoveMakonnen earlier this year. One thing is for sure though, that Dear Future Self (Hands Up) certainly won’t be Fall Out Boy’s last collaboration with the world of rap.
