9 Famous Albums The World Will Never Hear

3. Frank Ocean €“ Untitled Album

Frank Ocean is an American singer and songwriter who primarily rose to prominence as a ghost-writer for other artists, including John Legend and Justin Bieber. In 2010, he became a member of the hip hop group Odd Future before starting to release his own material.

Ocean's debut studio album Channel Orange released in 2012 to huge critical acclaim, spawning singles like Thinkin Bout You, Pyramids and Sweet Life. The musician's second studio record, however, has been the subject of much controversy, with several reports suggesting the album has been completely cancelled.

In 2013, Ocean stated that he had begun working on the album, which was to be a concept album. In April 2014, then, Ocean surfaced once more to claim the album was basically finished. A year later, in April 2015, the artist stated that the record would release in July 2015. Unfortunately for fans, July 2015 came and went, with no explanation provided for why the album never materialised.

Since then, there's been little to no information on the project, but some industry insiders have suggested the project has been totally scrapped. Regardless as to if or when Ocean eventually releases another studio record, it's unlikely to even vaguely similar to what was written in 2013.
