Every Bob Dylan Album Ranked Worst To Best
13. Love And Theft (2001)
Dylan's first album released in the 21st century, Love And Theft followed on from his Grammy-winning Time Out Of Mind, and sees the innovative outsider adopt a persona strikingly reminiscent of what he was like in the 60s.
Bursting with confidence and bravado, the album features Dylan uncaged, lashing out, having fun and working brilliantly with his Never Ending Tour band (so well, in fact, that he'd work with them for his next half-dozen records).
From the wondrous Mississippi to the fast-paced, country-rock hybrid High Water, Love And Theft continued Dylan's majestic return to form, and is easily one of his most nostalgic and exciting works.
