Every Bob Dylan Album Ranked Worst To Best

32. Dylan (1973)

Dylan is an album made up of outtakes - songs that didn't make it onto previous albums. Having recently left Columbia Records, the studio forced the album together with no creative input or help from the singer, leading to an album that is both uncharacteristically disjointed and devoid of Dylan's usually energetic spark.

There are some things working for it, including Dylan's spin on some classic songs from the likes of Joni Mitchell (Big Yellow Taxi) and Elvis Presley (Can't Help Falling In Love), but the rest of the album just doesn't work as a whole.
