Every Green Day Album Closing Song Ranked From Worst To Best

8. Graffitia - Father Of All…

Green Day's most recent release to date caused a bit of a stir in the music world. Some people loved Father of All..., which is a shortened version of its much racier title, whilst others stated that the once-hip act were now thoroughly past their prime.

The album itself may have been a bit shonky, but some of the individual songs came out okay, including Graffitia, the one that brought the curtain down.

Its title is the name given to a land based on '80s rust belt America, where African-American children are routinely shot and killed by the police. It's a hefty subject matter, but it's softened by Green Day's unique brand of showmanship.

The production is nice and varies a lot from the band's other work, making it much easier to digest and leaving Graffitita feeling like it would slot nicely onto one of the group's more acclaimed albums.

It's not quite American Idiot-worthy, but it's on the way.
