Get On Down, Silver Age

In Czarface Meets Metal Face MF DOOM teams up with hip hop supergroup Czarface. This turns out to be a match made in heaven as DOOM and Czarface are both masters of complex rhyming with a superhero comic aesthetic. If Bishop Nehru is the Robin to DOOM's Batman, then the Czarface character would be his Superman, not really a sidekick but more of a teammate.

The production is incredible on this album but unfortunately not as creative and slightly more repetitive than the albums mentioned prior, but of course this is fair when being compared to some of the greatest albums in hip hop history. Still though, the beats created by the Czarface sub-group, the Czar-Keys add to the comic book feel that this whole album is going for.

MF DOOM is at his best when he has something or someone to riff off of. Giving him a partner is a great way to expand the DOOM character and get to know him more, while also introducing us to a talented, underrated rap group.
