PJ Harvey - Ranking Her Albums From Worst To Best

7. Uh Huh Her

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zu7xIFoLzQ After the critical and commercial success of Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea, it took Harvey two years to write and record it€™s follow up, Uh Huh Her. This album is a true solo album, with Harvey playing every single instrument on the record. A departure from the more radio-friendly tone of her previous album, Uh Huh Her consists of slightly heavier songs, accompanied with songs which could almost be considered skits, barely exceeding a minute in length. Elsewhere, Harvey€™s dynamic vocals are as varied as ever, switching from soft and gentle in €˜Shame€™ to screeches in €˜Who the F***?€™ While often a passed-over album, Uh Huh Her still has classic elements of PJ Harvey.
