6. Applebee's

Applebee's and TGI Friday's are two sides of the same coin. Generally if you enjoy one, then you'll like the other. So why might you ask, are we effectively asking for more TGI Friday's? Well Applebee's is still a little bit different as it is a toned down concept which is more family friendly and isn't so gimmicky. Although TGI is placed in several cities around the UK, there is certainly room for further expansion and these gaps are where Applebee's could slot in. We wouldn't expect that either would want to directly compete with each other, but there is plenty of room for both in the UK as in some places you have to travel quite a distance to a TGI Friday's.
