Land to the Elder Scrolls, the continent of Tamriel is home to many wonderful qualities, including magical abilities, interesting races, powerful creatures and heroes who come along to save the world. This game series created by Bethesda has seen five main instalments and an MMORPG. It is one of gaming's most developed fantasy worlds and has plenty of diversity amongst its land.

Taking places in unique countries such as Morrowind, Skyrim, Hammerfell, and more, the world of Tamriel has an enormous scope which allows for many options in regards to its story. It has garnered critical acclaim, with its outings of Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim winning game of the year from multiple media outlets.

What makes the land of Tamriel so interesting is the large cast of diversity that it bolsters. Whilst retaining all of the traditional fantasy characters such as Human, Elves and Orcs, it features unique character races such as the Khajiit and Argonians. The variety that it has to offer in regards to its cultures and different settings are plentiful and it's one that makes for great exploration.
