10 Extinct Disney World Attractions You Need To Know About

4. Body Wars

Housed in Epcot's Wonders of Life pavilion, Body Wars was a simulated ride into the human body.

Directed by Star Trek's Leonard Nimoy, the ride used similar technology to Star Tours. Guests would board a simulator where they would be taken on a mission into the human body to help Dr Cynthia Lair uncover the mysteries of white blood cells. Unfortunately both Lair and riders would be sucked into a capillary, taking guests on a journey into the human circulation system.

The ride was known for making many queasy. The mixture of violent motion and the insides view of the human body could be too much for many.

In January 2007 the Wonders of Life pavilion closed along with Body Wars. Even though the pavilion has reopened on occasion for Food & Wine and Flower & Garden Festival events, Body Wars has continued to remain shut.
