10 Fictional Places We'd All Love To Visit

4. Skyrim (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)

The massive region of Skyrim is so large that you'd probably never up traversing it all, but it's a place with something for everyone: it's got lush forests, tundra areas, and even mountainous highlands. As with many picturesque locales, however, this also begets a savagely dangerous heart, as many of Skyrim's most quaint areas, like the small border town Falkreath, are merely an invitation to be ripped apart by the local wildlife, which in this case is werewolves. Countless towns are great for just getting to know the locals, known as Nords, who have a reputation for being extremely tough due to the trying weather conditions in Skyrim. Whether you want to be a lone wolf psychopath or actually become a contributing member of a society, there's so much to do in Skyrim that it's practically impossible to get bored, hence why many players are still deep into a 300+-hour game over two years later. It's probably for the best that this one isn't real, though, because we likely wouldn't ever come back.
