4. #AskMeAnything Has Revealed Some Interesting Information
While running for President in 2012 President Barack Obama took part in an #AskMeAnything, revealing his economic and political plans. This isnt exactly intriguing or shocking considering that he was in the midst of an election campaign. But what was intriguing is that we found out that his favourite Basketball player is Michael Jordan, and that the White House beer recipe will soon be released...although two years later we are still waiting. Weve also gleamed other interesting information about celebrities we all know that Robert Downy Junior will be facing off against Chris Evans in Captain America: Civil War, but the Marvel actor told Reddit users that he would be willing to appear on Agents of SHIELD; this is probably unlikely to happen, but his #AskMeAnything gave us an insight into the mind of one of Hollywoods biggest stars. When asked about how he procured the role of The Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger gave an in depth answer which explains so much about his breakthrough role:
I wanted the role of Kyle Reese when we went to lunch. I did not want to be the Terminator. I didn't think I had established myself yet enough as a hero to be a villain. When I started in Hollywood, all they offered was villains. So I wanted to really establish myself first. But I told Jim some of my ideas about how the Terminator should train (not looking while loading weapons, not blinking, no emotions. I said the guy had to train blindfolded.) The Terminator, by the way, at that time, was O.J. Simpson. Jim told me I had to do it. He was right.
#AskMeAnything has meant that fans get to ask the questions they want answered, and it has certainly given us answers to these peculiar yet fascinating questions.
