Reddits high level of traffic means that it is worth $1,130,768 a day, totalling $404,076,480 per year. This is according to a website which measures how much traffic a site receives, and then calculates a value using this information. Like any other website or business, Reddit owned by a corporation seeking to profit from it in 2006 it was bought by the company that owns the magazine Wired, although it is now operationally independent of this group, but the finances of the company are nonetheless intriguing seeing as the site rarely produces its own content; it relies on users to make it the hub that it is these days. Monthly the website would be worth just under $33 million as it receives 11 billion different page views every month. These figures are phenomenal, and they give you an idea of just how huge the website is. This level of traffic makes Reddit one of the internets most used websites, and it represents a profound shift in the way that we, as internet users, find content. You do not have to search for content you can trust that of the 376 million views every day that only the very best content will be pushed to the top.
