Projectors have been used in boardrooms and classrooms for decades now, from static projections of facts and figures in Powerpoint to the use of smart boards to manipulate information with styli, it's hard to remember back to a time where these devices weren't commonplace. Even the most portable of projectors are still weighty devices and you still need an input source for the projector, so you need either a tablet or laptop tethered to it. Enter the TouchPico, a portable computer with a built in projector that projects up to 80" and is touch responsive. Yes, that's right, you can project an 80" touch screen onto any surface of your choosing with a device no larger than an external hard drive. The applications for this are outstanding, from business meetings, to classrooms to performance art, the possibilities are genuinely endless. An example on the TouchPico website has it being used to project a touch screen onto a glass table, which has any Star Trek fan salivating with expectant joy. The TouchPico has been a success story on Indiegogo with the campaign finishing on the 25th of September and the first units expected to ship before the end of 2014. It's an exciting proposition to be able to carry a fully fledged computer in your pocket, let alone one that has such power.
