10 Terrifying Prehistoric Creatures We Should See In A Movie
1. <span Style="font-size: 15px;">Helicoprion</span>
This creature definitely ranks as the strangest that you will read about within this article, and that combined with the fearsome concept of this presence makes it the kind of thing that would thrive on-screen. Helicoprion was a shark-like fish that lived during the early Permian age and has a strange collection of fossil records that consist mainly of spirally arranged clusters of teeth, known commonly as tooth whirls.
These shark-like creatures probably already look scary enough, but are made worse by the fact that their mouths do not reflect any known creature we have ever seen. With a mouth and set of teeth that looked more like a buzz saw, this is a monster of the sea that utterly defies all logic, and that is precisely why it is so terrifying.
There is still a lot of speculation as to how this creature might have appeared, for the fossils primarily consist only of the discovered tooth whirls, with the rest of the animals body mostly down to speculation.
But this ultimately would allow for some creative licence regarding generating this movie monster. If we saw it in film form, then it would be a beast like no other.
