10 Things We Want To See From Joe Rogan Experience On Spotify
5. Don't Forget About The Fight Companion
When the JRE initially switched to the pre-recorded format, many worried that it signalled an end to the Fight Companion. For the uninitiated, the Fight Companion sees Joe, Eddie Bravo, Bryan Callen, and Brendan Schaub stream their reactions to a live UFC event, and now marks the only time that the JRE is broadcast in real-time.
You might think with the combined combat sports knowledge of commentator Rogan, grappling expert Eddie, UFC veteran Schaub, and, well, Callen, that the group would spend the majority of the time analysing every detail of the fights playing out in front of them.
However, what makes Fight Companions so entertaining is the fact that the group usually manage to avoid talking about the fights entirely, instead, they regularly delve into alcohol-fuelled conspiracy discussions or heated debates about who is the best looking male UFC fighter.
For many JRE fans, the Fight Companion serves as an avenue to see our favourites at their most relaxed state, often producing some of the most hilarious moments in the history of the show. With Joe having hinted about wanting to do a reduced schedule with the UFC for some time now, we can only hope that means more Fight Companions to come going forward.
