10 Things You Didn’t Know About The Pirates Of The Caribbean Ride

As with most Disney rides, especially the ones with such a distinct theme, the attention to detail is absolutely remarkable, and the attraction does an incredible job of transporting guests through a re-imagined pirate-filled Caribbean. 

With this being a pirate story, naturally there are a lot of skulls around, both with and without crossbones. However, one of them is a lot creepier than the rest: in the Captain's quarters, positioned on the headboard. 

What makes this skull so special, as opposed to the numerous others throughout the ride, is that this one is an actual human skull, as confirmed by the Cast Member in the video below. Thankfully, though, dead men tell no tales.
