11 Stages Of A Night Out In Bedford

1. Having A Brilliant (If Squashed) Time In The Pad

While the thought of dancing in a club the size of a small box cupboard might not sound particularly appealing, you'd actually be surprised by how much fun The Pad Nightclub is. OK, so it takes a while to get the bar staff to open the cloak room. And the toilets are really rough. And you're guaranteed to leave the smoking area with first degree burns due to drunk people flailing their cigarettes around in the small space. Oh, and you've got a brilliant view of the trolleys in Lidl's carpark as a backdrop to your drinking. But seriously; you don't need to wear heels because you'll dance so much, it often feels like a private party because the people you'll see are in there every single weekend and you're pretty good friends now, and if you're into indie/alternative music, the DJ is sure to please you. No where else in Bedford allows you to make a mosh pit in two square meters of space to the sound of This Charming Man.

I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
