6. ... And Bella In Twilight
Even before Tim Burton came knocking Cobain had major Hollywood studios knocking to try and get her attached to upcoming projects, and perhaps the strangest is that she was top of the list to play the lead role in the Twilight franchise. Speaking on The Howard Stern Show a few years ago, her mother Courtney Love claimed "when she was 13 she was offered Twilight. She was offered Bella in Twilight. Thats a true story, she didnt even audition for the part, but someone just saw a picture of her in a magazine and sent me the script. Cobain's reaction to the offer? Well apparently after reading the script she told her mother, in no uncertain terms, that she wanted nothing to do with it - calling the whole thing "a sexist Mormon piece of s**t. While the role hasn't exactly done too much damage to career of its eventual lead Kristen Stewart, Love still maintains that it would have destroyed her life, had she taken the role instead.
