In this video, not only do you get the "water balloon popping" effect that is so popular with slow-mo video makers, in which the water briefly holds the shape of the balloon, but you also get an up-close look at the process of a snake bite. As it rears to strike, you see the sheath that covers a snake's fangs. The snake in the video, a puff adder, is a species responsible for more snake bite deaths than any other African snake, and its venom can cause the flesh to necrotise and eventually slough off. Getting it to bite the balloon was probably the best option there.
