Is there anyone on the planet that doesn't like Jennifer Lawrence? From her endearing public persona to her ability to only choose home run roles, she's essentially become the face of likeable celebrity in recent years. And she's only 23. The year started off well for her as she rode in hot on the success of the David O. Russell vehicle Silver Linings Playbook, a quirky romantic comedy loved by audiences and critics alike. The film was nominated for eight Oscars, and Lawrence took home the lone win for Best Actress only a month after she'd been named top female draw in musical or comedy at the Golden Globes. The win came after her delightful showing on the red carpet, and months before she burst back onto the scene as Katniss Everdeen in the hotly anticipated Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire. The movie dominated the box office upon arrival, and now we all wait for another potential piece of Lawrence Oscar bait in Russell's December release American Hustle. What a year.
