These people wouldn't be caught dead in a store-bought costume. Instead they lean towards the hand-crafted cosplay side of things. They have perhaps the most original and elaborate costumes on Halloween. Their enthusiasm for dressing up is beyond credible. Think about the effort required to equal the mightiness of The Hobbit's Thorin Oakenshield, or the skill in synthetically engineering Iron Man's suit. That's not all these people approach Halloween as method actors, literally becoming their character for the duration of the night. In the case of Breaking Bad enthusiasts for example, if that means dealing crystal blue (candy), then so be it as far as they're concerned. The only problem with people who treat Halloween like it's Comic Con is that most of the time, the costumes themselves aren't actually relevant to the holiday. Unfortunately, dressing up as everyone's favourite drug dealer or character from Game of Thrones (Daenerys above) doesn't quite go hand in hand with Frankenstein, The Mummy and Dracula.
