If Dumfries was based on Mean Girls, the Queen of the South would be Regina George - but that doesn't necessarily mean that the Queen is narcissistic, self obsessed or evil (hopefully). The Queen of the South is practically teen royalty who is adored by all of the locals for one whole year. Her coronation is another excuse for the locals to get together, have a good time and a boogie.
