8. Stiff High Collars

Reign: 19th Century For a while, men were just as coo-coo to die for their fashion choices as their female counterparts. The "Stiff High Collar", otherwise known as "The Father Killer", was a detachable high collar that was so tight that it would cut off circulation to the brain. But at least they looked swish.
