The Sarposa Prison attack was a raid on the prison in Kandahar, Afghanistan by Taliban insurgents in June 2008, which freed a reported 1200 prisoners, thanks to a coordinated attack by 30 machine gun wielding insurgents on motorbikes. The mass escape led directly to the Battle Of Arghandab.
