8. Tube Tunnels Will Kill You
The darkness out of your train window hammers home how deep underground you actually are. You envy all the people who are able to pass the time by reading a book or talk to their friends. When you close your eyes, all you see is the suffocating tunnel around your train. The worse thing to happen now would be the train to stop in the tunnel. Sometimes it does if its approaching a busy station and it has to wait for the train in front to move, but what if it breaks down in the tunnel? Every moment the train doesn't move in the tunnel, it is magnified in your head to the point you start believing that you will never get out. Your heart starts racing, noises get louder and all you want to do is start pacing up and down the train. The fear of being stuck in a tube tunnel is enough for any claustrophobic to exclusively use the bus to get around.
