9. A Never Ending Building Site

Cardiff is very much an up and coming city, and ever since the highly successful transformation of Tiger Bay into Cardiff Bay some time ago, new buildings have been springing up all over the place. The city centre also underwent a major overhaul in recent years, and with that mostly done, developers are setting their sights elsewhere. Between new apartment buildings popping up all over Cardiff Bay, an ice arena, and some genuinely amazing looking plans to transform the area around the train station, the years ahead look to be very exciting indeed. Unfortunately, it means living on what is essentially one big building site in the meantime, and any day you don't hear a drill going somewhere or the sound of a concrete truck roaring down the street is rare to say the least.
