11. It Gets Harder And Harder To Dress Trendily

Looking good - and the importance of appearing to be trendy - isn't something that you really associate with your parents. Parents, after all, are so clueless about fashion that they still use the word "trendy" so they're the last people any self-respecting young adult would look to for inspiration for dress sense. Pass that 30 mark, however, and it isn't long before you start looking at clothes and assessing them on their practicality and durability rather than how you actually look in them. Questions like, "how long will it last?" and "will it keep me warm?" start to be asked and before long you're swapping tops and fashion tips with the folks over Sunday dinner. It's another step towards becoming your parents.
