12. The Avengers #1
Finding the right ensemble costume can be difficult, especially if you don't have the solitary girl in your group who could play Penny from Big Bang Theory, or April O'Neil to your turtles, or Black Widow to your Avengers, but since the enduring success of the movie most groups simply ignore the need and go with the Avengers option. Sadly, they don't always go full commitment, and instead we get "hilarious" reimaginings of young men in tiny shorts (or occasionally just underwear as appears to be the case with Iron Man) with altogether too much skin of show, and a Hulk who appears to have been coloured in with a felt tip pen. You can see the attempt at humour, and Thor probably does deserve a nod for his strong nipple work, but the overriding feeling is that the joke isn't really as funny as any of them thought.
11. The Avengers #2
Thor sticks out like a sore thumb, thanks to his surprisingly authentic looking headwear and the not-terrible home-made wrist adornments, but the others are a travesty. Iron Man's boozy reboot would have come off better with tighter execution, and Captain America's look is just confusing. And the least said about Kermit the Hulk the better.
