Each year the Expos get bigger and better and 2018 delivered big time.

A Celebration of Harry Potter 2018 Expo was spread across two soundstages, which were filled to the brim with lots of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts activities.

In one of the Expo's, fans could get up close and personal with one prop from the movies, specifically Professor Slughorn's transforming chair. In Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Jim Broadbent's character transforms into an armchair to avoid detection. Fans could use the actual chair from the film and perform a bit of movie magic.

The Warner Bros. Studio Tour exhibit attracted huge audiences, with queues to get in stretching around the the soundstage. This year the exhibit focused on some of the physical effects in the movies including the working Goblet of Fire, Professor Umbridge's smoking pink dress and the letter spewing door from the Philosopher's Stone.

Audible returned with their incredibly popular trivia game where players had to listen to a passage and guess which book the clip came from. There were costumes from across the different movies, including a separate exhibition dedicated to the Cursed Child. You could get interactive in the Fantastic Beasts movies, thanks to a a VR experience.

The expos also had areas dedicated to the new Hogwarts Mystery Game and Pottermore encouraged fans to get interactive with some of the most famous quotes from the books online.

The Harry Potter Concert Series as well as MinaLima had there own displays and there was also a return of the fan wall. Here you could write down just what J.K Rowling's world meant to you. One of my favourite things also returned this year, which was the chalk art. It was great to see the Expo and the streets outside being decorated with beautiful scenes from the movies.

You could also pick up the special edition wand that was on sale just for this event at the merchandise counters at each Expo. Last year fans needed to order their limited edition wand and have it sent to them, this year you could pick it up right there and then.
