5 Reasons Universal's A Celebration Of Harry Potter 2018 Was Awesome

Universal finished off each evening of A Celebration of Harry Potter with a performance of their new evening show, Nighttime Lights At Hogwarts Castle.

Those who purchased a Premium Vacation Package for A Celebration of Harry Potter were treated to a sneak preview of the Nighttime Lights At Hogwarts Castle at Islands of Adventure on the Friday, whilst regular park guests could see it over the next two evenings. The show already takes place over at the Universal's California park, but fans were able to catch the first ever showing on the East coast.

The nighttime spectacular is short projection show featuring the four Hogwarts houses and culminates in a twinkling firework display. Now that the Celebration is over the show will run intermittently through out the evening on select nights in February, but I imagine that the show will be extended beyond February.

Although the projection show is under 5 minutes long, I think this is preferable to some of the longer 20 minute firework shows. The display is able to be shown multiple times each night, so if you miss out on it whilst in the queue for Forbidden Journey, you can always catch it again later. Generally I'm a go with the flow type of person on vacation and find the multiple showings fit the way I enjoy theme parks.

It truly is the perfect way to finish any evening at Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
