6 Reasons You Must Visit The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter At Universal Studios Hollywood
1. There's So Much Detail
You can spend hours looking around Hogsmede and only just scratch the surface of all there is to see in this land.
Look out for Hermione's Yule Ball dress in the window of Gladrags (along with her feline companion Crookshanks made out of a tape measure). You can send your postcards home from Owl Post or learn how to cast spells on some of the objects in the Hogsmede shop windows.
With the enhancements in Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, you will feel like you are actually flying through the castle grounds. You can feel the wind in your face as you zoom through Hogwarts and the huge Basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets looks pretty realistic.
It's not just the big things that make this land so real, it's the small things too. Stuart Craig, who was the production designer on the Harry Potter Films, has spoken about how it is the tiny details that make this land so special.
"Dirt is a big feature" he says, moss and damp stains have been created all across the land to ensure that Hogsmede Village and all its building appear like they have been there for years.
Universal Studios Hollywood is the self-proclaimed Entertainment Capital of LA, and with the newly opened Wizarding World of Harry Potter, it is becoming hard not to agree with them.
