Making slime is ridiculously fun and ridiculously easy. You can make any colour you like, you can make it glittery, fluorescent and even glow in the dark.

The recipes almost always call for borax, which isn't all that easy to get hold of outside of the US due to EU regulations, but you can always get it off the internet or use an alternative such as laundry starch (the creator of the video above has also made another video using an alternative).

As well as being super-awesome fun, the slime is actually useful for real proper grown-ups. You can use your slime to clean out keyboards, vents and any other hard-to-reach places where you might end up dropping biscuit crumbs during an all-night binge on Crusader Kings 2 (you know, because you're a real proper grown-up and you're allowed to do things like that).
