Alton Towers: Ranking The Rollercoasters From Worst To Best
3. Nemesis
Nemesis, which is another Bolliger and Mabillard-built rollercoaster, opened nearly 20 years ago in 1994, but is still very highly-rated by the rollercoaster community and still offers a fantastic ride experience. The themeing, while looking a little worn, is great and the ride itself is intense, if not a little short. Reaching 50mph on a 716 metre track, Nemesis has four inversions. These days, it's sounding a little rickety and the rider does get bashed around a little (you'll find that your ears hurt after having them slammed off the restraints repeatedly), but it's undoubtedly a classic and one that Alton Towers have used to build a spin-off attraction; Nemesis Sub-Terra.
