Every Stephen King Novel Ranked Worst To Best

1. The Dark Tower Series

Stephen King in It: Chapter Two
Marvel

The Gunslinger. The Drawing of the Three. The Waste Lands. Wizard and Glass. The Wind Through the Keyhole. Wolves of the Calla. Song of Susannah. The Dark Tower. Eight novels, one novella, and numerous appearances throughout his other work, The Dark Tower series is Stephen King's magnum opus, and couldn't possibly be split into individual books for this list.

Published between 1982 and 2012, Roland Deschain's quest for the elusive Dark Tower is one of the best journeys in literature, and King's ability to tackle every genre from fantasy, western, sci-fi and dystopia into just one, sweeping tale is masterful.

Epic, twisting, violent, scary, moving and all-encompassing, The Dark Tower beats out all of the author's other works, and with its unique narrative, fantastic characters and pitch-perfect finale, there can be no question that it's the greatest story Stephen King has ever written.
