1. Ghostbusters
I've loved Ghostbusters ever since I was a child so I had high expectations for this house. I left feeling overjoyed.
Ghostbusters was clearly built with love. All of the more memorable scenes from the film were there to enjoy including; the Hotel with Slimer, Dana's living room and the Temple of Gozer. You actually walk through the New York Public Library and the Fire House, complete with Janine.
Show Director for Ghostbusters Charles Grey cautioned that scares will come when you are most distracted and often I was too busy looking at the beautiful set pieces to notice a big ole nasty ghost behind the corner.
The cast was well picked. The fabulous Dana/Zuul was perfect, as was Gozer the Destroyer and Janine. The scene with Gozer was my favourite of the whole maze. The special effects left me slack-jawed, it was like being in the film.
If you love Ghostbusters you'll love this house too. It's utterly outstanding and worth any posted wait time.
