Skull Island: Reign Of Kong - Universal Orlando First Look!

Although it sounds like there will be some thrilling elements to the ride, West confirmed the height restriction is 34 inches, the same as family favourite E.T. Adventure. You still might want to think carefully though before you bring your toddler to the home of Kong. As well as the groundbreaking ride vehicles, guests will experience an original score created by Bill Ross and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios. Ross has worked previously on The Hunger Games, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Star Wars Episode VII - The Force Awakens. West and his team have been working on this epic attraction for 3 years and said it was "time to bring the star back", Kong is still relevant and "guests expect him". With this already set to be the longest attraction at Universal Orlando Resort, it seems that just like Kong himself, this attraction is going to be of epic proportions.

WhatCulture.com was recently told that this new monster of an attraction is not a tie in with the upcoming Legendary Pictures film Kong: Skull Island and although discussions did take place during the early stages with the team responsible for Peter Jackson's 2005 King Kong epic, this will be a stand alone attraction.

Skull Island: Reign of Kong is set to open Summer 2016. Learn more about Universal's Skull Island: Reign Of Kong at the official Universal Orlando blog.
