The Essential Guide To Your Star Sign

5. Leo (23rd July-22nd August)

tumblr_lg60aiqpw61qgrtgfo1_500 Leos to me, no matter what age they are, always come across as big kids with big hearts. They are naturally ebullient and love to be in the centre of the drama as a leading protagonist. If the spotlight is not on them, they begin to get angry as they need to be loved and adored. Leo has some great traits. Their planet is The Sun which makes then optimistic and merry natured. Without fault, every Leo I know is extremely generous and has a big warm heart. They are also extremely loyal and trustworthy. Ambition is high in Leos and they tend to be very arrogant if they have their ambitions fulfilled. On the negative side, Leos will flounce away on a huff, if their need for the spotlight is not fulfilled. They have large egos that constantly need to be stroked by praise and devotion. They can also be bossy and tyrannical due to the size of their ego and they can be atrociously vain. My sister who is a Leo, had an emergency c-section a couple of weeks back and had a full face of makeup in about an half an hour after the operation! Overall, Leos - like their symbol the lion - have a regal air about them. They all seem to have either a lot of hair on their heads - particularly blonde hair (it is their mane). They love children and are often just big kids themselves. Leo is most compatible with Aries and Sagittarius

My first film watched was Carrie aged 2 on my dad's knee. Educated at The University of St Andrews and Trinity College Dublin. Fan of Arthouse, Exploitation, Horror, Euro Trash, Giallo, New French Extremism. Weaned at the bosom of a Russ Meyer starlet. The bleaker, artier or sleazier the better!
